As a Market Sales Leader, you will leverage your local knowledge and relationships to increase brand awareness, expand market presence, and lead high-performing sales teams that deliver exceptional results in Iowa City, Iowa. You will be a trusted ambassador for ImOn, actively participating in community events, developing strategic partnerships, and representing the organization with local businesses, civic leaders, and residents. This role is ideal for a community-minded leader who is passionate about building connections, strengthening local partnerships, and driving business growth through meaningful engagement.
What You’ll Do
- Serve as the primary company representative and community ambassador within the Iowa City area.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local business leaders, Chambers of Commerce, economic development organizations, community groups, and municipal leaders.
- Represent ImOn at networking events, sponsorships, ribbon cuttings, community meetings, and local events.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen ImOn’s presence and reputation throughout the Iowa City area.
- Lead residential and business sales efforts to achieve growth, customer acquisition, and installation goals.
- Develop and execute localized sales strategies based on community needs, market opportunities, and competitive dynamics.
- Recruit, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on customer experience and results.
- Partner with marketing and operational teams to support successful market expansion and customer growth.
- Monitor sales performance, forecast results, and implement plans to drive continued success.
What We’re Looking For
- An established community leader who either lives in or has deep connections within the Iowa City area.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience, preferably within telecommunications, broadband, fiber, technology, or related industries.
- A natural relationship builder who enjoys meeting people, creating partnerships, and representing an organization in public settings.
- Experience leading outside sales and business development teams.
- Strong communication, networking, and public speaking skills.
- Proven ability to drive revenue growth while building long-term customer and community relationships.
- Business acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to translate local market opportunities into measurable results.
