Description
In this role, you will:
Project & Production Planning
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and manufacturing production schedules for assigned scopes of work.
- Perform routine schedule updates, progress tracking, and schedule health assessments.
- Create and distribute look-ahead schedules, production forecasts, milestone reports, and planning metrics.
- Analyze critical and near-critical paths and identify risks that could impact delivery schedules.
- Support documentation and communication of schedule impacts resulting from design changes, material delays, resource constraints, or scope changes.
Manufacturing Operations Support
- Coordinate production schedules to support customer demand, inventory objectives, and project delivery requirements.
- Monitor material availability, supplier lead times, and manufacturing constraints to maintain efficient production flow.
- Track production workloads and manufacturing capacity to optimize resource utilization.
- Collaborate with shop leadership to adjust schedules based on labor availability, equipment utilization, and material readiness.
- Support planning efforts related to manufacturing work orders, inventory alignment, and production priorities.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Partner with Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Construction, and Startup teams to align schedules and execution plans.
- Participate in planning, scheduling, and coordination meetings.
- Compile and integrate supplier, subcontractor, and manufacturing schedules into overall project plans.
- Support change management initiatives and schedule impact analysis.
- Ensure schedules comply with ENTEK standards, processes, and best practices.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), or similar platforms.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, production tracking, reporting, and data analysis.
- Understanding of engineering, construction, manufacturing, and production sequencing principles.
- Basic knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and production scheduling concepts.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business, Project Management, or a related technical field preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in project planning, scheduling, manufacturing planning, production scheduling, or related operational planning roles.
- Experience in industrial manufacturing, equipment fabrication, EPC, construction, or similar environments preferred.
- Experience utilizing ERP/MRP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, or equivalent scheduling software preferred.
- Equivalent combinations of education, training, and relevant experience will be considered.
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to communicate effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods as needed.
- May occasionally be required to spend significant time in manufacturing and production areas.
- Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May occasionally work extended hours to support production schedules, project milestones, or operational demands.
Your Work Schedule
This is a full-time, exempt position working Monday through Friday, day shift.

Salary Description
$70,000 - $85,000 per year
