Position Summary:
The Kitchen Hourly Team Member is responsible for executing high-quality food preparation and service in a fast-paced convenience retail environment. This role supports the daily production of grab-and-go and made-to-order food items while maintaining strict standards for food safety, cleanliness, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Execution
- Prepare, cook, and assemble food items according to approved recipes and portion standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and correctly
- Maintain product quality, presentation, and speed of service
- Support hot and cold grab-and-go food programs
Food Safety & Sanitation
- Follow food safety regulations and company policies
- Maintain proper food handling and storage procedures
- Complete required food safety training
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstations
Cleanliness & Facility Standards
- Follow daily and weekly cleaning schedules
- Maintain back-of-house cleanliness
- Report equipment or sanitation concerns
Safety & Compliance
- Follow workplace safety procedures
- Adhere to uniform and personal hygiene standards
Teamwork & Customer Focus
- Work collaboratively with team members
- Assist during peak periods
- Communicate effectively with supervisors

Qualifications & Experience

- QSR or commercial kitchen experience
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation
- Reliable transportation
- Flexible schedule
Preferred
- Food Handler certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
