Forklift Operator

At York Building Products, we're looking for a skilled, safety-focused Forklift Operator who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps things moving. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and know your way around a forklift, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Be Doing

Every day brings something different! You'll:

Safely operate forklifts and other equipment
Load and unload trucks with precision and care
Organize and stage materials for shipment
Perform daily equipment inspections
Work closely with Supervisors, Customer Service, and Sales teams to ensure every order is accurate
Keep the yard and work areas clean, organized, and safe
Follow all company and safety regulations
Jump in and help wherever needed

What We're Looking For

You may be a great fit if you:

Have previous forklift operating experience
Take safety seriously and lead by example
Can read and follow loading tickets and instructions
Enjoy physical, hands-on work
Are dependable, motivated, and team-oriented
Can work overtime when business demands it

Physical & Work Environment
