About you and the role
As a Travel EMT, you will administer pre-hospital care to victims in response to 911 emergency calls, coordinate with law enforcement agencies, and perform patient assessments to obtain critical medical information and deliver treatment during life-threatening emergencies
What you will do
- Respond to emergencies
- Assess a patient’s vital signs
- Deliver basic life support
- Conduct pharmaceutical interventions
- Perform CPR during cardiac arrest, toxicological emergencies and neurological emergencies
- Ensure compliance with ambulance safety protocols during patient transport
- Ensure all required medical supplies are stocked and in fully working order; report any issues

Hourly rate: $34/hour
Housing Stipend: $725/week
In addition to the compensation above, we are also offering the following benefits options:
- Medical, Dental, and Vision coverage beginning the first day of the month following your date of hire.

- 401(k) retirement plan after working at least 1 year and have at least worked 1000 hours.
- Paid sick leave, accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked.
This position is being recruited for on an ongoing basis.
Basic Qualifications:
- 1+ years of 911 experience in a busy 911 system as an EMT
- National Registry EMT
- AHA BLS
- NIMS: 100, 200, 700, 800
- Current Immunizations (MMR, Hep B, TDAP)
- Negative TB test within the last 12 months
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a busy 911 system as an EMT
- Average work tenure of three years
- Multiple instructor ratings
