International Sales Director (Cybersecurity)
Hybrid Remote INT'L: UK, GBR Sales
Description

Digital Envoy (DE) is the leader in geolocation and VPN data for over 25 years for customers in various verticals - Streaming Media, Ad Tech, Cybersecurity, E-commerce, and Data Analytics. Our core product, IP address geolocation, powers customers like Netflix, Hulu, Trade Desk, PayPal, AWS, Apple, and many others. Our VPN and Proxy data, coupled with accurate IP address geolocation, helps companies determine malicious activity for threat intelligence, authentication, and digital privacy.

Digital Envoy is seeking an experienced, strategic sales professional to grow our cybersecurity and fraud business outside North America, reporting to the VP of International Sales. We’re winning business in this space internationally across fraud prevention, payments, and regulated gaming, and the opportunity now is to put a focused owner behind that momentum- someone to sharpen where our data creates the most value, with fintech, payments and online gambling as natural areas to scale, and to own the strategy and the number as the business grows.

The ideal candidate brings a track record of success in high-growth environments selling technical products to sophisticated buyers, and is genuinely passionate about prospecting, presenting and closing. You win by earning the trust of executive decision-makers, and you are comfortable using data and evidence to negotiate complex, large-scale agreements and partnerships.

This role is based in London, UK, with an expectation to work from our shared space 2-3 days per week.

What You'll Do:

  • Manage the full sales cycle from identifying prospective clients that align with our ideal customer profile to closing to achieve/surpass quota and drive new client and revenue growth for Digital Envoy
  • Build and own a territory hunting strategy — working out where our data creates the most value and prioritising accordingly, with fintech, payments and online gambling as likely early focus areas
  • Articulate Digital Envoy’s IP intelligence, VPN/proxy detection, and fraud prevention proposition to technical and commercial stakeholders — including fraud, risk and compliance leaders, security teams, and the product and engineering groups who would embed our data into their own platforms
  • Nurture and strengthen relations with current and potential clients
  • Develop sales strategy and solution sell Digital Envoy’s offerings by identifying client needs / challenges and industry trends
  • Identify and represent Digital Envoy at relevant cybersecurity and fraud industry events
  • Lead and negotiate contractual terms and pricing while overcoming objections to close deals
  • Develop and maintain a strong knowledge of Digital Envoy’s product and value proposition while anticipating existing and future needs of new prospects and clients
  • Utilise sales software (e.g., Salesforce) to track pipeline with accurate updates to ensure reliable revenue forecasts
Requirements

  • A genuine hunter- you can articulate exactly where you would go to build pipeline: by vertical, by use case, and by buying trigger
  • 7+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, ideally with exposure to cybersecurity, threat intelligence, fraud prevention, identity security, or closely adjacent data/technology markets, and to selling at C-level
  • Experience selling data products, APIs, or intelligence feeds is a strong advantage — the commercial motion for a data layer differs materially from packaged software. Existing knowledge of the cybersecurity or fraud space is welcome but not required; what matters more is that you can learn a technical domain quickly and translate its value to a fraud director, a risk or compliance lead, or a security architect
  • History of hitting and exceeding revenue goals through solution-oriented and creative thinking skills to evaluate problems and to drive win-win outcomes
  • Strong technical aptitude, able to translate a technical product into commercial value
  • Excellent communication skills; specifically, strong listening, negotiation, presentation and written
  • Proven ability to establish meaningful relationships with decision makers with a track record of retaining key clients
  • Hungry to achieve success and hit the ground running
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Be able and willing to travel for meetings, conferences, and industry events
