Description

Positions in this series are responsible for food preparation, production and cleanup in a cafeteria setting according to established dietary requirements of quality, quantity, nutrition, appearance, temperature and timeliness.

Assists cooks and other cafeteria staff in food preparation, cafeteria setup, cleaning and dishwashing.

Requirements

?  Hold a valid Clay County Food Handlers Certification or obtain one within 30 days of being hired.  

? Current Safe Environment compliance or able to obtain before starting employment.

? Must be 18 years of age.

? Be able to stand on your feet for hours at a time.

? Be able to lift a maximum of 15 lbs.

? Be willing to be trained before being hired.

? Complete the daily, weekly, and monthly tasks for the kitchen.

? Be able to help students open milk cartons and various items.

? Maintain the set rules for the students.

? Maintain professionalism with teachers, staff, and visitors.
