Chief Engineer

Superhost Hospitality - HGI Atlanta Airport North

As the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all maintenance, engineering, and facility operations to ensure the hotel remains safe, functional, and well-maintained for guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine property maintenance tasks, including repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Perform inspections to identify and address issues related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Handle basic carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Assist in the maintenance of landscaping and outdoor areas.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and guests.
• Ensure the cleanliness and safety of public areas and facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in property maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Proficient in carpentry, painting, and drywall repairs.
• Ability to perform routine inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Additional Requirements:

• Previous experience in a general management role within the hospitality industry is required.
• Availability for varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
