Banquet Bartender/Banquet Server - Full Time
Description

· Mix ingredients, such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks for guests and the service bar using proper measuring techniques

· Serve wine and other draught or bottled beer.

· Collect money for drinks and food served.

· Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display.

· Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks.

· Replenish supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in bar area.

· Notify a manager immediately of any guest complaints.

· Use proper etiquette guidelines with guests.

· Practice and observe all serve-safe rules and procedures.

· Assist all service personnel in any duties as requested.

Assist in clearing pre-event areas and common areas of glasses and debris including basic cleaning

and

 

· Prepare all dressings and cold sauces.

· Ensure quality guest service and comfort at all times by monitoring the area continuously.

· Have a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, specials, beverages, wines, etc.

· Serve all items utilizing appropriate china, glassware, silverware, garnish, and condiments.

· Assist servers and set up housepersons if needed.

· Immediately relay all guest complaints and compliments to management.

· Maintain health and sanitation standards.

· Maintain safe serve regulations when serving alcoholic beverages

· Assist in setting tables with linen and basic silver and glass maintaining high standard of presentation

· Assist in breaking down events and cleaning rooms after functions

Requirements


· Minimum lifting of 50 pounds.

· Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

· Minimum pulling of 50 pounds.

· High school education preferred. Relevant training and experience required.

· Ability to obtain required alcohol server certificate.
