Position: Worship Pastor

The Worship Pastor is entrusted with leading, shaping, and elevating the campus worship experience. Join our mission to inspire lives, build teams, and glorify God through transformational worship at Bayside!
Key Responsibilities
- Design Engaging Worship Experiences: Plan, curate, organize, and lead spiritually impactful worship services and special events.
- Build and Empower Teams: Recruit, train, and mentor worship team members and volunteers to cultivate excellence and spiritual growth.
- Develop Musical and Technical Excellence: Continuously sharpen musical and technical skills, while staying updated on trends and best practices.
- Provide Spiritual Care: Offer one-on-one guidance to team members, fostering their spiritual health and personal growth.
- Collaborate Across Ministries: Work with the Senior Pastor, Pastor of Student Ministries, and Pastor of Kids Ministries to create a unified worship culture and develop young worship leaders.
- Collaborate with Creative and Technical Production: Provide input for technical and creative aspects of worship production to ensure quality, innovation, and alignment with the church’s mission.
- Embrace Innovation: Stay informed on technological advancements and implement updates that enhance the worship experience for maximum impact.

- Proficiency in keys, guitar, or other instruments.
- Familiarity with digital audio workstations (e.g., Pro Tools, Logic, Ableton).

- Demonstrates spiritual maturity and a commitment to personal faith.
- Maintains composure and professionalism under pressure.
Qualifications
- A strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Bachelor’s degree in Worship Ministry, Music, Theology, or a related field (preferred).
- Equivalent experience in worship leadership or music ministry is acceptable.
- Proven experience (3-5 years preferred) in leading worship in a church or ministry setting.
- Experience recruiting, training, and managing worship teams and volunteers.
- Background in working collaboratively with other ministry departments.
- Strong ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor worship team members.
- Proven track record of effective leadership and team-building.
