Service Engineer I
Description

As a Service Engineer I, you will play a crucial role in the supporting of physical security systems, ensuring they meet the client’s specifications. Working collaboratively with clients and a multidisciplinary team, you will contribute to the seamless resolution of issues of security components while delivering excellent service.

Requirements

Major Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Advanced Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues that arise during everyday use.  
  • Tuning: Adjust system settings and configurations to optimize performance and ensure seamless integration of all security components. 
  • Documentation: Complete and upload documentation per Prime standards before project launch and completion. Maintain various internal technical documentation and processes.
  • Customer Service: Collaborate with clients and project teams to provide updates and address any concerns or modifications needed. Provide end-users and technical staff with training on system operation and maintenance. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with service coordinators, engineers, and technicians to ensure smooth resolution of issues. Site visits as needed.  
  • On-Call: Participate in the afterhours on-call rotation. 
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years of technical experience preferably in physical security systems.  
  • Strong understanding of access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and related technologies.  
  • Proficiency in system installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.  
  • Strong understanding of network protocols and system integration. 
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.  
  • Proven customer service experience, with the ability to handle client interactions professionally and effectively.

Additional Notes:

  • 90-day probationary period.
  • Individuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions MAY not be hired.
  • Individuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related convictions or suspensions within the past three years.
  • Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in English as well as possess good oral & written communication skills. 
  • Individual must be able to pass a drug screening and meet background requirements.
