SUMMARY:
The Director of Recovery Support Services reports to the Associate Vice President of Outpatient Services and oversees Recovery Support Services across SFRC's programs in Santa Fe. This position is responsible for leading and developing SFRC's Case Managers and Peer Support Workers, establishing best practices and standards of care, facilitating team meetings, providing supervision and training, monitoring program outcomes, and ensuring compliance with CCBHC standards and organizational requirements.
The Director of Recovery Support Services works closely with organizational leadership and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate recovery-oriented services, address social determinants of health, support recovery capital development, and ensure individuals receive comprehensive support throughout their continuum of care. This position oversees case management, peer support services, crisis response activities, community referral coordination, and grant-related deliverables to ensure high-quality, person-centered care and successful transitions across all levels of service.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Director of Recovery Support Services responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Implement and oversee recovery support services addressing social determinants of health and recovery capital needs for individuals served, consistent with CCSS and CCBHC criteria.
• Assess program needs and develop processes that promote person-centered, recovery-oriented care throughout all levels of service.
• Serve as liaison with community partners, referral agencies, DCOs, and community resources to support client needs and continuity of care.
• Facilitate daily team huddles with Case Management and Peer Support staff.
• Review documentation within the Electronic Health Record and provide ongoing training, coaching, and quality assurance to ensure compliance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and maintain outpatient and residential caseload assignments, including Bridge House caseloads, to ensure equitable workload distribution and continuity of care.
• Review Case Management treatment plans and maintain accurate outpatient census reporting.
• Coordinate weekly staff workflow assignments and service coverage schedules.
• Conduct weekly supervision meetings with Case Managers and Peer Support Workers to review productivity, performance, documentation, and client outcomes.
• Schedule and coordinate CCBHC supervision requirements and staff development activities.
• Monitor client profiles, referrals, and cases within Unite Us and ensure timely follow-up and documentation.
• Oversee the administration of Unite Us, including staff training, profile management, referral assignments, and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor and approve employee timecards, leave requests, transportation requests, and related personnel documentation through Paylocity and other agency systems.
• Develop and support peer support encounters, recovery-focused groups, and community-based service opportunities.
• Ensure staff are trained and competent in crisis intervention, de-escalation, safety planning, and crisis documentation.
• Coordinate crisis response schedules, on-call coverage, and crisis-related payroll activities.
• Review crisis-related documentation and service delivery to ensure compliance with agency standards and best practices.
• Maintain reports of services and deliverables related to multiple grant initiatives, including local, state, federal, and county funding sources.
• Prepare, review, and submit required grant reports, including but not limited to County Navigation Grant Reports, Flex Funds Reports, and HSC grant report.
• Enter and maintain Flex Funds reimbursement documentation and receipts.
• Recruit, interview, hire, train, coach, and evaluate Recovery Support Services staff.
• Implement progressive discipline, performance improvement plans, and corrective action processes in collaboration with Human Resources.
• Monitor program performance, productivity standards, and service outcomes to ensure quality service delivery and compliance with funding requirements.
• Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance recovery support services and community partnerships.

- Proficient use of Electronic Health Records and community referral platforms including Unite Us.
- Proficient use of standard office equipment and software including Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong leadership, supervision, and staff development skills.

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, Healthcare Administration, or related field required.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of supervisory or leadership experience.
