Position Overview

The Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily manufacturing operations and supervising the production team at the Fountain Inn facility. This role ensures that all production activities meet established safety, quality, delivery, and performance standards. The supervisor works cross-functionally with Quality Assurance and Engineering to ensure products  

Requirements
  • Lead and supervise production floor activities, including scheduling and assigning personnel
  • Establish production plans, set priorities, monitor progress, and adjust schedules as needed
  • Maintain workflow efficiency by monitoring processes, equipment, and team performance
  • Review production metrics to ensure alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and performance targets
  • Develop and maintain reporting procedures for manufacturing operations
  • Partner with QA and Engineering to ensure adherence to product specifications
  • Recruit, onboard, train, and develop production staff
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and discipline in partnership with Human Resources
  • Conduct performance evaluations and support employee development
  • Identify and implement training opportunities to strengthen team capability
  • Foster open communication and maintain a collaborative team environment
  • Enforce production standards to ensure product quality and workplace safety
  • Ensure compliance with applicable state and federal regulations
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned 

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 10+ years of manufacturing experience
  • At least 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with inventory management and order reconciliation preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams
  • Proven analytical and root-cause problem-solving capabilities
  • Sound decision-making ability in a fast-paced production environment
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency with tools such as Microsoft Office, Microsoft Teams, Slack, and Google Workspace
