Description

The Coordinator, Operations is responsible for daily activities required to coordinate, plan, run, maintain and service the stadium and events. 


Responsibilities & Duties

  • Responsible for the planning and execution of special events including partner, client, hospitality events etc. 
  • Develop a complete understanding of the requirements for every special event.
  • Assist researching vendors and make selections based on their creativity, quality, and cost.
  • Participates and leads client tours, coordinating the event needs with the client, and helping to determine relevant equipment, personnel and services required and estimated costs.
  • Responsible for making all departments aware of special event needs by generating event orders, diagrams, etc. to internal departments and 3rd party providers as needed. 
  • Assist in regularly tracking the overall event finances.
  • Ensure all events are ready for guests, clients and teams as required.
  • Support and assist Operations Managers in large scale events and operations projects.
  • Act as the Event Manager on Duty for partner, client, and hospitality events. 
  • Carefully supervise load-ins and event preparation activities.
  • Offer solutions to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Create event sheets and post-event summaries for partner, client, hospitality events etc.
  • Provide regular feedback to leadership and participates in continuous improvement for efficiency of operations and events.
  • Assist in maintaining the events calendar. 
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Facilities / Event Management or related field preferred.
  • Event / operations management in sports & entertainment venues preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures related to event planning, set-up and conversions.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills. 
  • Team player able to handle a variety of tasks.
  • Ability to speak and understand Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including but not limited to evenings, weekends and holidays. 
  • A passion for fútbol is a plus.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to move and/or lift up to 50 pounds.

This position requires work inside and outside of the building and some exposure to adverse conditions.

Ability to work extended hours, weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.
