Job Description:

Imperium Utilities is seeking a Utility Locate Coordinator to support utility construction operations throughout Oklahoma. This position is responsible for coordinating and calling in utility locates, tracking locate tickets, communicating with utility owners and field personnel, and ensuring crews have the information necessary to safely perform excavation and construction activities.

The ideal candidate will be organized, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently while traveling throughout the state. Most nights will be spent in the Oklahoma City area, although occasional overnight travel may be required.

  

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

? Call in and manage utility locate requests through Oklahoma One-Call and other utility notification systems

? Monitor locate ticket status and expiration dates

? Coordinate with utility owners, municipalities, and field personnel regarding excavation activities

? Maintain accurate records and documentation of locate requests and responses

? Travel to project sites as needed to support field operations

? Communicate effectively with supervisors, foremen, and project management personnel

? Assist with identifying potential conflicts and ensuring compliance with excavation safety requirements

? Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

? Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

? Basic computer skills, including email and data entry

? Strong organizational and communication skills

? Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks

? Utility construction, utility locating, surveying, engineering support, excavation, or related field experience preferred

? Familiarity with 811/One-Call systems is preferred but not required


Work Schedule:

? Typical schedule of 40–50 hours per week

? Travel throughout Oklahoma as required

? Most evenings spent in the Oklahoma City area
