Stavros Center for Independent Living, Inc. is seeking a newly created part time, up to 25 hours per week Administrative/ Executive Assistant position.

This position is an entry-level position, the Administrative Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will provide administrative support. This position manages the day-to-day operations of the office of the CEO, including communicating with other staff on multiple deadlines, commitments, and projects. The Executive Assistant manages the CEO's calendar, drafts correspondence, makes database entries, manages schedules, makes travel arrangements, executes and handles a broad range of inquiries, issues and confidential materials, and interacts with board members, and donors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Manage and coordinate the CEO's calendar. Schedule meetings and appointments, arrange logistics for meetings on site, offsite, and virtual as well as ensure the CEO is prepared for upcoming meetings and events. The Executive Assistant will draft correspondence for the CEO as well as prepare, edit, type, proofread, and compose correspondence and other documents relating to the operation of the CEO's office. They will assist the CEO with administrative work for board, committee, and donor meetings, including preparation and coordination of meetings, research and assembly of materials, recording meeting minutes, and other related requests. Job duties will also include filing, and managing independent projects as assigned, including administrative projects, and data analysis. They will also have other duties assigned by the CEO.
Qualifications: Associate's degree in business administration, communication, or a related field preferred. Demonstrated administrative skills including proficiency in Excel and Word. Excellent communication skills and exemplary writing and proofreading skills. Ability to work independently and follow through on all assignments with minimal direction, detail oriented.
