Position Overview:
Our team is growing! The Chicago Bulls are seeking a highly motivated, detailed, creative problem solver to fill the position of Account Executive, Partnership Marketing. In this role, you will manage and implement contractual obligations and service requests for the team’s Corporate Partners. You will lead a set number of team partnership accounts and support other accounts to bring to life a variety of assets including in and out of arena components, social content, and community partnerships. In addition, you will provide hospitality and service to clients and assist with Corporate Partnership events and programs.
The ideal candidate is solutions oriented, with an ability to manage competing priorities, and act quickly and proactively on timely requests. They will thrive in a fast paced, ever-changing environment, and be a strategic communicator and connector who can be a trusted ally to Bulls teammates and partner leads.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong and trusting relationships with roster of clients and establish his/herself as a trusted strategic business partner
- Implement all contractual obligations while providing the highest level of service in a timely manner
- Lead day-to-day client communication, project development, reporting and recapping for a set list of partnership accounts
- Lead internal cross-functional meetings that yield clear next steps and action items to keep all parties progressing
- Recommend strategic partnership adjustments based on partnership and business strategy to ensure contractual assets continue to align with team and partner goals
- Host or support partner hospitality events and programming
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1-2 years of sponsorships account management experience or relevant agency/brand experience
- Capability to run multiple project timelines simultaneously and meet deadlines
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with all levels of the organization
- Consultative mentality and team-first attitude
- A balanced, creative but efficient working style
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail, time management, and consistent follow-through
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-directed, can make progress with limited information or direction, takes initiative to seek support when needed, and can be agile and flexible based on feedback
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of CRM system (KORE, KORE Activate, etc.) preferred
- Strong operational efficiency, and proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- BA/BS in Marketing related field
Compensation & Benefits:
The base salary range for this role is $50,000 - $55,000 annually + structured bonus and is overtime eligible. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
