The Teller is responsible for accurately and efficiently performing transactions and providing exceptional customer service each and every time. This position expands upon and deepens customer relationships through suggestion of services and products, refers customers across business lines and generates customer conversations to build and maintain long-lasting banking relationships. The Teller also adheres to compliance regulations and Bank policies and procedures.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create memorable customer experiences by warmly welcoming clients and establishing strong relationships.
- Go above and beyond in delivering service that exceeds customer expectations.
- Operate in full compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
- Accurately and efficiently process a variety of bank transactions, ensuring each interaction is seamless and positive.
- Handle customer inquiries over the phone, providing clear answers and directing them to the appropriate branch personnel.
- Assist bankers by servicing customer requests, such as printing statements or performing balance inquiries.
- Scan daily transactions with precision and timeliness, maintaining the highest standards of accuracy.
- Complete administrative tasks on time, ensuring all documentation is correct and properly filed.
- Demonstrate reliability by consistently being on time and present for scheduled shifts.
Creating Customer Referrals:
- Educate customers on our wide range of products and services, helping them make informed financial decisions.
- Identify potential opportunities during customer interactions and create referrals to connect them with the right specialists.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, ensuring the branch is ready for business each day.
- Contribute to the upkeep of the branch by stocking supplies and maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
- Continuously seek ways to streamline services and improve workflow efficiency.
- Provide support to other branch locations as needed, ensuring consistent service across all branches.
- Take on additional duties as assigned to support the branch’s operations and goals.

WORKING CONDITIONS
This position is located in an office environment with artificial lighting and controlled heating/air conditioning. The position includes prolonged periods of working on a computer and repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. The incumbent needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
