The Opportunity

As the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation & Community Relations Fall Associate, you'll assist with the day-to-day operations of the Foundation and community programming. This role will support fundraising initiatives, in-arena and community events, donation fulfillment, social media coordination, website updates, and administrative needs that help bring the Foundation's mission to life.


Position Highlights:

  • Hands-on experience in Foundation and community relations within a professional sports environment

  • Exposure to fundraising, nonprofit operations, fan engagement, digital communications, and community programming

Core Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate on day-to-day operations, programming and events for the Vegas Golden Knights and the foundation.
  • Work with the foundation team on organizing and executing foundation initiatives including but not limited to:
  • Assisting with auction preparation, execution and customer follow-up, as requested.
  • Vegas Golden Knights in-arena and special community events.
  • Tracking, organizing, and fulfilling charitable donation requests.
  • Participating and assisting with charitable projects
  • Assist with administrative needs pertaining to the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation including but not limited to:
  • Aid in the collaboration and design of fundraising tools.
  • Keep both the foundation and community portion of team’s website updated.
  • Work in conjunction with Manager on posting engaging content for foundation social media platforms.
  • Assist in monitoring Foundation email address and requests.
  • Support the continuing mission of the Vegas Golden Knights and its Foundation to service our community.


Administrative & Digital Support

  • Assist with administrative needs related to Foundation and Community Impact operations.
  • Help keep Foundation and community pages on the team website updated.
  • Work with the Manager on engaging content for Foundation social media platforms.
  • Assist in monitoring the Foundation email inbox and requests, escalating items as appropriate.
  • Maintain accurate records, details, and follow-through on assigned tasks.


Mission & Community Service

  • Support the continuing mission of the Vegas Golden Knights and the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation to serve the community.
  • Bring a collaborative, enthusiastic, and thoughtful approach to each project.
  • Contribute ideas that help strengthen Foundation visibility, fan engagement, and community impact.


Learning Objectives

  • Gain hands-on experience with foundation and community-based events in a professional sports environment.
  • Play an intricate role in supporting the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation and its initiatives.


What You'll Bring

Availability & Requirements:

  • 20 + hours of associate hours available per week
  • Must be available to work early mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays
  • Season: August 2026 to March 2027
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Must possess excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be a detail-oriented and creative "out-of-the-box" thinker.
  • Must be self-confident, resilient and possess a high energy level and enthusiasm.
  • Must be a team-player and able to work well with others.
  • Ability to adapt, learn and grow with team approach and philosophy.


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during office work, events, and game-day activations.
  • Ability to walk throughout event spaces, arenas, and community event locations.
  • Occasional lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling of event materials and supplies, up to 25 pounds.
  • Manual dexterity for computer use, event setup, and handling materials.
  • Visual acuity to read documents, computer screens, event details, and written materials.
  • Hearing and speaking ability to participate in meetings, communicate with guests, and support event operations.


Work Environment:

  • Professional office, arena, and community event environments.
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented atmosphere with frequent interaction with staff, fans, donors, and community partners.
  • Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, games, and special events.
  • Standard office equipment including computer, phone, printer, and related technology.
  • May require attendance at sporting events, community activations, fundraising events, and business functions outside normal office hours.
