Position Overview:

The Chicago Bulls are seeking a self-starter and hard-working Video Coordinator to join our team. Our in-house video team, under Basketball Operations, is tasked with assisting the staff with any and all video needs. The Video Coordinator is a full-time position, where your primary focus will be assisting the Chicago Bulls coaching staff. This role will require a diverse set of skills with video analysis and have a strong understanding of basketball. The position will focus on supporting player, team and staff development. 


This role will report into the Head Video Coordinator while working closely with the coaching staff and aligning with members of our Basketball Analytics team.


Responsibilities:

This role will focus on supporting players, team and staff development. More specifically, you will be responsible for the following: 

  • Capture, tag, and cut game and practice film using Second Spectrum, Synergy, Hudl Sportscode, and FastModel.
  • Handle live in-game clipping and bench support.
  • Support player development initiatives through video analysis and presentations to coaches and players. 
  • Deliver edits and breakdowns of opponents for game preparation.
  • Understand and use analytics to evaluate both our team and opponents.
  • Assisting on court during practice and individual workouts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and / or equivalent work experience 
  • Strong work ethic, meticulous and organized with effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt and problem-solve
  • Experience and knowledge of Hudl SportsCode, Synergy Sports, FastModel, Second Spectrum, & Claude AI preferred but not required
  • Strong knowledge of basketball techniques and tactics
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications with a strong interest in technology, software, and data
  • A strong work ethic and the ability to establish rapport with others and build strong interpersonal relationships
  • Effective and quick decision-making in a dynamic environment

Compensation & Benefits:

The base salary range for this role is $55,000 - $60,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.

Interested applicants should be currently located in or prepared to move to the Chicagoland area. This role requires flexible work hours that includes work outside of normal office hours including nights, holidays, and weekends as well as travelling with the team to select away games.
