Position Overview:
The Chicago Bulls are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and collaborative person to fill the position of Community Engagement Associate. As an Associate, you will assist the Community Engagement department in day-to-day activities and programs throughout the regular season. Additionally, you will also support the department with programs in collaboration with our Corporate and Community Partners. We are seeking someone who is passionate about service, detailed oriented, and organized. This role is a great fit for an emerging leader.
This role will participate in the Bulls Rookie Program and is scheduled to start in September 2026 and continue until the conclusion of the 26-27 season.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support for Community Engagement & Chicago Bulls Charities programs and activations
- Receive payment for and schedule scoreboard messages
- Manage in-kind donation requests
- Organize and manage the department warehouse space
- Manage the Community Engagement Department email account
- Assist with all Community Engagement’s community activations
- Assist in execution of the charitable ticketing program
- Plan and execute at least one Community Engagement event and/or program
- Plan and execute Chicago Bulls Charities garage sales
- Manage the day-to-day operations of Chicago Bulls Charities 50/50 Raffle
- Track event and activation data for the department
Game Day Responsibilities:
- Assist in any pre-game activations as needed
- Assist in any on-court activations as needed
- Support staff programming throughout the season (e.g., orientation, in-season initiatives)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Previous experience in sales/retail, non-profit, communications, entertainment and/or sports
- Strong communication (both written & verbal)
- Excellent teammate with positive energy who has a desire to learn, while also having the skills to work independently and know when to seek advice
- Highly organized and meticulous attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong work ethic
- Problem solver who performs well under pressure
- Social skills that reflect examples of teamwork, preparation, collaboration, responsiveness, and creativity
- This role requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends.
Compensation & Benefits:
This role pays $20/hour and is eligible to earn overtime pay. The Chicago Bulls offer a relocation stipend for any candidates making a move to the state of Illinois. This role requires flexible work hours and may include work outside of normal office hours during the business week and on weekends. Full-time remote work is not an option for this role and interested applicants should be currently located in or prepared to move to the Chicagoland area.
