Description
- Mission: To create an environment that is warm and welcoming to all people as they experience GFC, inviting them to take their next step along the Come, Connect, Engage pathway.
- Recruit, train, schedule and mobilize hospitality volunteers (greeter, ushers, cafe hosts, New Here hosts, etc.) for Sunday mornings and special events (i.e., Easter, Christmas Eve, etc.)
- Ensure regular communication with hospitality volunteers, encouraging and appreciating them
- Facilitate the New Here process, including gifts
- Coordinate seasonal decor (i.e., Christmas and Easter) in the main lobby and entry ways
- Maintain inventory and organization for the cafe and main kitchen
- Oversee the cafe and hospitality budgets
- Count and process cafe revenue
- Attend staff meetings (Wed at 9 am), programming meetings (Mon at 9 am) and staff events
- 25-30 hrs per week position

- Attends, as a member, and affirms the doctrinal statement of GFC
- Demonstrates commitment to and alignment with the mission, vision, and values of GFC
- Demonstrates commitment to the GFC staff values and adheres to the Employee Handbook
- An eye for hospitality, anticipating the experience of guests and seeking to make it better
- Highly relational leadership style that can influence and inspire others
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to receive and positively respond to feedback
