Administrative Assistant to Director of Global Training

OVERVIEW: 

The Administrative Assistant to the Director of Global Training plays a vital role in supporting the mission of Reaching & Teaching by providing administrative support related to calendar management, expenses, travel, and other administrative tasks.   


The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, mission-driven, and relationally skilled—able to manage sensitive information, communicate clearly, and thrive in a collaborative ministry environment.  


RESPONSIBILITIES 


Administrative Support 

  • Manage and maintain the Director of Global Trainings calendar, including scheduling meetings, check-ins, and recurring rhythms. 
  • Track travel dates, conferences, and events, keeping the Director informed of changes or conflicts. 
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-up notes to support clarity and execution. 
  • Track tasks, deadlines, and follow-up processes to help ensure departmental projects stay on course. 
  • Process receipts, reimbursements, and expense reports accurately and on time. 
  • Assist in organizing email inbox and drafting communication as needed. 
  • Attend Global Training meetings as necessary 
  • Collaborate with other Global Training Team Members as necessary 
  • Assist the Director with general administrative tasks 

QUALIFICATIONS 

  • A mature follower of Jesus Christ and active member in good standing of a local evangelical church. 
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative, donor relations, finance, or development-related role. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer service mindset. 
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable with strong follow-through. 
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism. 
  • Comfortable learning new technology; experience with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Asana, Notion, and leveraging AI tools is a plus. 
  • Self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work well with people of varied personalities and roles. 
  • Willingness to serve under leadership and work in alignment with Reaching & Teaching’s mission, doctrinal convictions, and core values.
