About the opportunity: Chemical Engineering CO-OP

We are currently seeking a Chemical Engineering CO-OP to help us achieve our company mission. C&I is a full-service engineering design firm providing engineering/design/project management and procurement services to various clients in oil & gas, food & beverage, and distilled spirits.

 Responsibilities include:

• Works independently while assisting a Lead Process/Chemical Engineer to complete tasks. 
• Works as part of a project team on engineering designs. 
• Prepares computer analysis and calculations under the supervision of the responsible Lead Engineer. 
• Takes notes to document discipline-specific issues, decisions and needs on projects.
• Assists with developing construction documents (P&ID’s, datasheets, specifications, construction scopes of work, and line lists).
• Supports design staff in general office and project needs including word processing, spread sheets, filing, and copying.  
• Travels to customer and vendor locations for site/equipment inspections. 

Minimum requirements:

Job qualifications are generally obtained from the following:

• Currently enrolled in school pursuing a BS, MS, or Meng in Chemical Engineering.
• Driver’s License
