The Stock Assembler performs work-station assembly operations to produce components or to assemble those components into a completed environmental test chamber by performing the following duties:
- Read, comprehend and follow Department Work Instructions.
- Properly assemble Stock Assemblies and/or chambers, which may include:
- Any assembly-type functions, using hand and power tools.
- Read/use standard measuring devices.
- Use RTV silicones and similar adhesive/sealants
- Use cleaning chemicals such as dish soap and aerosol degreasers
- Perform basic wiring connections and techniques.
- Braze/solder copper, brass or other similar materials

Helpful Skills and Knowledge:
- Basic math and measuring skills
- Ability to read (or willingness to learn to read) blueprints, schematics, and work instructions.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience with Brazing and/or soldering
1st shift position.
Salary: $20.00 to $23.00 / hr
