Position Summary

We are seeking an Implementation Manager to turn new agreements into a live, thriving partnership — building the project plan, coordinating every stakeholder and work stream, and being the one relationship the client trusts from kickoff to go-live. This role is the connective tissue between the client, Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project management, for every client implementation — building the project plan, setting milestones, and driving the schedule from kickoff to go-live.
  • Lead client onboarding, from kickoff through go-live, managing timelines, milestones, and stakeholders across both the client team and internal Gifthealth teams.
  • Coordinate requirements and work streams, across Product and Engineering so the client's needs are met on schedule.
  • Be the trusted point of contact, for the client throughout implementation, building confidence through clear communication, fast problem-solving, and relentless follow-through.
  • Drive adoption, designing rollout plans and training that get client teams comfortable and confident from day one.
  • Identify and manage risk early, flagging blockers, scope changes, or gaps before they threaten a launch date.
  • Partner cross-functionally, with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to ensure a seamless handoff before and after go-live.
  • Follow PMO best practices, maintaining consistent project documentation, governance, and reporting standards, and reporting project status and portfolio health into the organization's PMO.
  • Improve the process every time, capturing lessons from each implementation and feeding them back into sharper playbooks, templates, and tooling.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Project Management, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience exceeding 5+ years in project management.
  • Experience: 5+ years of client-facing implementation, onboarding, or project management experience, ideally at a healthcare, health-tech, or SaaS company (required).
  • Experience with pharmacy operations, specialty pharmacy, EHR/EMR systems, or direct-to- patient (DTP) programs (preferred).
  • Skills:
  • A track record of delivering complex, multi-stakeholder projects on time, without sacrificing the client relationship.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, in an environment where processes are still being built and the candidate is expected to help build them.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate between technical teams and non-technical client stakeholders.

Desired Attributes

  • The ideal candidate is a calm, organized project leader who builds trust fast, communicates proactively, spots risk before it becomes a fire drill, and is energized by the moment a client goes live.

Work Environment

  • Location: Hybrid/Remote
  • Schedule: Full-time
  • May require availability during product launch or flexibility for escalations.
  • Periodic travel to clients to ensure alignment.

Key Essential Functions

  • Must be able to work effectively in a remote or hybrid environment using standard business technology and project management tools.
  • Communicate effectively via email, chat, and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Slack, GoogleMeets, Teams)
  • Must be able to travel onsite and to client locations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional or distributed teams across time zones
