Job Summary:
To partner with and assist MDO (Mother’s Day Out) Director as we work together to see people changed by the Truth of Jesus.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- None.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Work alongside MDO Director and MDO Staff to support all needs of the program.
- Maintain good communication lines with other areas of the church.
- May be available to work a flex schedule encompassing Wednesday night, Sunday morning services, as well as special ministry events throughout the year.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations governing children, personnel, property, and insurance liability.
- Maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
Customer Service
- Develop and actively maintain positive communication with parents.
- Confer with parents who express a complaint or concern verbally or in writing, meet with any parent whose child is experiencing difficulties.
- Communicate parent concerns to staff members as needed.
Educational Program:
- Supervise the program on an ongoing basis. Observe and evaluate alongside MDO Director, act as a resource person for teachers, and provide in-service training and workshops as needed for staff development, in MDO Director's absence.
- Print and prepare classroom materials and room readiness. Ensure that curriculum is appropriately implemented throughout the program.
- Ensure that staff is effectively trained on curriculum and policies.
- Help MDO Director purchase supplies as needed.
Enrollment:
- Respond and follow up on enrollment inquiries. Give prospects hours of the program and detailed information about philosophy, classroom teachers, etc.
- Give tours as needed.
Physical Facility:
- Maintains building, equipment, and grounds to ensure a safe environment that meets program and licensing safety standards.
- Coordinates equipment and facility repairs; ensures timely completion of repairs to minimize any risk of injury to others in coordination with MDO Director.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Understand the mission and vision and how this ministry can work with the Church body to fulfill this vision.
- Ability to listen effectively and to communicate clearly to children and their parents/caregivers.
- Strong people skills.
- Strong organizational skills; detail oriented.
- Have a high commitment to moral and ethical standards, striving in all actions to be pure of heart, mind, word, and deed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen as well as criminal and sexual misconduct background checks.

Education and Experience:
- High school degree required; college degree preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds at times.
- The ability to work on site in Green Acres offices and campus.
