As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in supporting daily waste processing operations by safely moving materials, maintaining a clean work environment, and assisting with core plant functions. This role includes paid training, company-provided uniforms, leading health benefits, tuition reimbursement, vacation/PTO after 90 days, Stay-On bonus, making this a strong opportunity to grow within an essential, mission-driven industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload 16-foot and 26-foot box trucks.
- Move and position trucks at loading docks and designated unloading areas.
- Use hand trucks and other equipment to safely move materials and products.
- Receive incoming inventory and properly store items in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform inventory counts and assist with order fulfillment.
- Accurately track and document daily inventory, processing, and production activity.
- Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.
- Keep warehouse areas, loading/unloading zones, and equipment clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Work with team members and supervisors to complete daily tasks and meet productivity goals.
- Assist with process improvements and special projects as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- 0-2 years of warehouse, manufacturing, sanitation, or labor experience preferred.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
- Ability to lift 50-75 pounds and push/pull loads up to 200 pounds.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime and weekends as needed.
- Must successfully complete all required pre-employment screenings, including a background check and drug screening.
