Play a pivotal role in the dynamic world of Stock Show events, where your involvement spans from orchestrating grand spectacles like bustling cattle sales attended by up to 3,000 enthusiastic onlookers to ensuring the seamless operation of our more intimate venues spotlighting individual talents and diverse performers. Your journey with us will encompass a range of responsibilities, from crafting the perfect setup to gracefully wrapping up each event.
Picture yourself in the midst of the action, assembling and dismantling microphones and PA systems. As you dip your toes into the realm of audio mixing, you will collaborate with our valued vendors, forge connections, and contribute to the synergy that makes our events shine.
Harness the opportunity to engage with our skilled stagehands, each interaction a chance to build your network and gather captivating stories from the world of A/V production, but more importantly, make connections with our vendors and be there for all the events at the Stock Show! We have a customer-centric approach, and our punctuality & unwavering professionalism will elevate the attendee experience, leaving a lasting impression that’s as vibrant as our events.
We have two shifts: a morning (6 am – 3 pm) and an evening (noon – closing (usually 8 pm, although we have a couple of nighttime events that will cause that time to shift). Interns should expect to work each of the 16 days of Stock Show, in addition to several of the days in the week leading up to the event.
In this collaborative environment, we understand the demands of your academic journey. Thus, we’re dedicated to tailoring your experience to seamlessly align with your school credit requirements, ensuring your growth is harmoniously balanced. Join us in the journey of crafting memorable events that captivate, entertain, and inspire – all while gaining invaluable insights into the captivating world of event production.
