Join Jones Edmunds as a Construction Project Coordinator and play a vital role in supporting construction projects from bid phase through final close-out. What You'll Do:
- Provide administrative support to the Construction Administration Department
- Prepare and maintain the document control system in accordance with the Construction Administration Manual. Create, post, and maintain tracking logs for specific types of documentation such as shop drawings, submittals, requests for information, change orders, and pay requests.
- Compose correspondence/transmittals as necessary according to project procedure and/or as requested by Construction Administration team.
- Prepare project close-out documentation for archiving project files/documents in accordance with Company Construction standards.
- Coordinate bid-phase process from advertisement to bid opening and recommendation.
- Meet deadlines.
- Assist in claim preparation and claim defense preparation.
- Work with the Safety Manager to provide field personnel with adequate safety attire and equipment.
- Ensure Construction Administration staff has appropriate office supplies, field files, and relevant copies of documentation.
Who You Are:
- Education: HS diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 3+ years of progressive construction administration or related experience
- Other: Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable MVR
