Norfolk Kitchen & Bath, a division of The Norfolk Companies, is seeking an experienced Cabinet Installer to join our residential remodeling team in Framingham, MA.


We’re looking for a dependable, detail-oriented professional with hands-on experience installing kitchen and bathroom cabinetry, crown molding, trim, and other finish components. What You’ll Get to Do

  • Install kitchen and bathroom cabinetry accurately and efficiently according to project specifications.
  • Install crown molding, trim, fillers, panels, hardware, and other finish components.
  • Read and accurately execute floor plans, elevations, measurements, and installation details.
  • Ensure cabinetry is properly aligned, leveled, secured, and finished to Norfolk’s quality standards.
  • Identify installation challenges and work with the Project Manager to develop practical solutions.
  • Coordinate with Project Managers, subcontractors, countertop installers, and other trades to keep projects moving efficiently.
  • Maintain professional and respectful communication with customers while working in their homes.
  • Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite throughout the installation process.
  • Complete installations with strong attention to detail and address punch-list items as needed.


Requirements

 

  • Minimum of 5 years of residential cabinetry, finish carpentry, or remodeling experience.
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience with cabinet installation.
  • Strong experience installing crown molding, trim, and finish carpentry components.
  • Ability to read and interpret floor plans, elevations, measurements, and installation details.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify and resolve installation issues in the field.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with Project Managers and other trades.
  • Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs. and safely perform the physical requirements of the position, including working from heights.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience installing cabinetry for kitchen and bathroom remodeling projects.
  • Experience working in occupied residential homes.
  • Prior experience working as part of a two-person installation crew.
  • Experience coordinating with countertop installers, plumbers, electricians, and other trades.
  • Comfort using technology for communication, project updates, and job tracking.
