CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT TECHNICIAN

Flexaust is seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement Technician to help improve manufacturing equipment and production processes. We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, technical curiosity, and a willingness to learn. This position offers opportunities to participate in equipment design, installation, process improvements, and automation projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Improve manufacturing equipment and production processes.

· Participate in the design and implementation of manufacturing equipment and process improvements using CAD software.

· Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, PLC, and process-related issues.

· Build, assemble, install, and modify manufacturing equipment and machinery.

· Perform machining, welding, fabrication, and equipment integration as needed.

· Create drawings, layouts, and technical documentation.

· Support equipment installations, automation projects, and facility improvements.

· Travel as needed for projects, training, and supplier visits.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

· Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on troubleshooting skills.

· Experience with manufacturing equipment and production processes.

· CAD experience is a plus.

· Understanding of PLC programming concepts.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings.

· Experience with equipment assembly, installation, machining, welding, or fabrication.

· Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

· Effective communication and teamwork skills.

· Self-motivated with a willingness to learn and grow.
