LPN/RN
Description

 LPN will provide nursing services for all assigned participants. 



Requirements

1. Maintain reliable transportation available for use during working hours, valid driver’s license and provide proof of automobile liability coverage.

2. Maintain flexible schedule to meet the demands of the department.

3. Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing

4. Use tact and empathy when dealing with people of varied backgrounds.

5. Establish effective working relationships

6. Work independently and in a team environment

7. Be proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office products (Computer literate).

8. Accept responsibility and demonstrate leadership.

9. Be able to multitask effectively in a sometimes fast paced environment. 


Education and/or Experience:  

Licensed Practical Nurse with current Indiana license is required. At least one-year experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is required. 


Certifications/Licenses/Registrations: 

Current LPN License

Medication Administration: Core A and Core B

CPR/First Aid


Physical Demands:  

The employee must be able to perform the essential duties of this job.


Work Environment: 

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The noise level is usually moderate but occasionally loud. Use of Personal Protective Equipment such as vinyl or latex gloves is occasionally required.
