Description
The Jr. Analyst, Business Intelligence will support the Partnerships team in turning data into actionable insights that drive partnership value and business decisions. This role will contribute to partnership performance reporting, asset valuation, media measurement, and dashboard development while supporting the team with data and insights across new and existing partnerships. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, curious, and passionate about the intersection of sports, data, media, and partnerships.
Responsibilities:
- Support the valuation of partnership assets and sponsorship inventory by analyzing media exposure, audience data, performance metrics, and market benchmarks.
- Monitor and analyze social, digital, and broadcast media performance using sports sponsorship and media measurement platforms to measure partnership impact and value.
- Develop partnership recaps, reports, dashboards, and presentations that translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and partners.
- Research industry benchmarks, comparable properties, and market trends to support partnership valuations, pricing, and commercial decision-making.
- Support the automation of recurring reports and development of dashboards to improve reporting efficiency and accessibility of data.
- Maintain partnership data and reporting processes within Salesforce and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand data needs and provide insights to support decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
- 1+ year(s) of experience in analytics, partnerships, marketing, sports business, media, or a related field; relevant internships and academic experience may be considered.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify meaningful insights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to organize, analyze, and present data effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Relo Metrics, Nielsen or other sports sponsorship/media measurement platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
- Experience building dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence tools.
- Familiarity with sports partnerships, sponsorships, media valuation, or the sports business industry.
- Experience with data visualization and translating data into compelling presentations or stories.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, data automation, or reporting workflows.
- Understanding of social, digital, and broadcast media metrics and how they relate to sponsorship performance.
- Passion for sports and interest in the intersection of sports, data, media, and partnerships.
