Supervisor (Plant)
Description


We are seeking a motivated and dependable Supervisor to lead a team of service operations personnel and ensure daily work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with customer and company standards. This position is responsible for overseeing shift operations, providing direction and support to employees, monitoring quality performance, and maintaining strong communication with the Account Manager.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a commitment to safety, and the ability to effectively manage personnel, resources, and operational priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Essential Job Duties

  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact with the Account Manager during assigned shifts.
  • Provide daily direction, supervision, and support to service operations personnel.
  • Monitor work quality and take corrective action when needed to ensure customer and company expectations are met.
  • Inspect completed work and submit daily operational reports to the Account Manager.
  • Plan and coordinate staffing, supplies, and equipment required to complete assigned tasks.
  • Ensure all contractual services are completed according to customer requirements and company standards.
  • Coordinate and oversee special service requests, ensuring completion within 24 hours or customer-requested timelines.
  • Evaluate work methods, procedures, and materials to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost effectiveness.
  • Promote and enforce all company safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained, operated safely, and meets all safety requirements.
  • Conduct quality audits and inspections, reporting findings and implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Prioritize and redistribute work assignments when employees are absent.
  • Schedule work assignments and make staffing adjustments as directed by the Account Manager.
  • Perform payroll and billing responsibilities during the absence of the Account Manager.
  • Participate in employee hiring, coaching, disciplinary actions, and terminations under the direction of the Account Manager.
  • Support other departments and operational teams as business needs require.

Qualification

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and lead a diverse workforce.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Must successfully complete all customer-required and company-required training programs and annual requalification requirements.
  • Must pass all required background investigations, drug screenings, and alcohol testing.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.
