Position Summary
The overall purpose of this position is to assist in the management of the Manufacturing Department. Essential duties include assisting in the supervision of Manufacturing personnel, quality control, and maintenance daily Manufacturing operations.
Key Task & Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining daily operations in Manufacturing: Labeling Area, Manufacturing Filling Area, Manufacturing Bulk Pad Area, Manufacturing Blending Area, and Warehouse.
- Lead morning meeting to get the day started
- Verify both fill line set ups between each run.
- Assist in execution of daily production schedule.
- Conduct daily inspections.
- Perform Manufacturing personnel duties when necessary to cover vacations, illnesses or other absences.
- Research and make recommendations on projects.
- Attend initial and annual training as stipulated by federal, state and local regulatory agencies as applicable for position held within the company.
- Meet all Moove Lubricants safety requirements and have received all necessary safety training and wear all applicable PPE equipment for their job function to ensure that lost time accidents are held to a minimum.
- Receive in tanker load and Railcar inventory as they are unloaded into our P21 database
- Keep track of drum additive inventory weekly
- Responsible for leading the tote and drum wash area.
- Assure that the team is managing time wisely.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or management.

- Ability to read, perform basic math and comprehend instructions.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must have thorough understanding of manufacturing operations, accounting operations, warehouse operations and maintenance operations and be detail-oriented.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with personnel and business contacts.
- Have the ability to communicate face to face and through email went applied
- Must have a good mechanical background as well as ability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts.
- Team player- proven ability to collaborate and work well with others.

Physical/Mental Requirements
- Very Heavy work: exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Work Environment
- This worker will be subject to indoor and outdoor environmental conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, noise, hazards and oils
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in lubricant manufacturing
- Forklift experience with certification
- General Mathematic skills
- Previous Supervisory experience is not required, but would be helpful
- Experience with loading and unloading railcar/ tanker trucks preferred but not require with the ability to learn
- Good computer skills and the ability to navigate an ERP system
