Description
Tattoo Manufacturing International is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Shipping &
Receiving Clerk to support daily warehouse, inventory, and order-fulfillment operations in
Tucson, Arizona. This role is responsible for accurately receiving incoming materials,
preparing and shipping customer orders, maintaining inventory records, and ensuring all
shipments are handled safely, securely, and on schedule.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing
environment, and committed to accuracy, quality, and excellent internal and external
customer service.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities and condition of materials, and compare deliveries against purchase orders, packing slips, and receiving documentation.
- Inspect incoming packages and materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality concerns; document and report issues promptly.
- Accurately enter receiving, shipping, inventory, and tracking information into company systems and spreadsheets.
- Label, sort, stage, stock, and organize incoming materials and finished goods in designated
- warehouse locations.
- Pick, pack, label, and prepare customer orders and internal transfers for shipment according to established procedures.
- Create shipping labels, bills of lading, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation.
- Coordinate daily shipments with carriers such as UPS, FedEx, USPS, freight providers, and other approved transportation partners.
- Verify order contents, shipment weights, addresses, special handling requirements, and shipping methods before release.
- Track outgoing shipments and assist with researching delivery issues, lost packages, damaged shipments, returns, and customer shipping inquiries.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
- Keep shipping, receiving, warehouse, and staging areas clean, organized, safe, and compliant with company standards.
- Safely operate material-handling equipment and tools as authorized and trained.
- Follow all company safety practices, quality procedures, security requirements, and applicable shipping regulations.
- Communicate effectively with purchasing, production, customer service, quality, and warehouse teams to support timely order fulfillment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, inventory, fulfillment, logistics, or manufacturing experience preferred.
- Experience using shipping software and major carrier systems is preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency, including email, data entry, and Microsoft Excel or similar spreadsheet applications.
- Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, packing slips, shipping labels, work orders, and basic inventory documents.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and accuracy when handling inventory and shipping documentation.
- Ability to prioritize work, meet daily deadlines, and remain productive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Dependable attendance and the ability to work the established Monday–Friday schedule.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull packages and materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to safely move inventory using carts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment.
- Ability to work in a warehouse and manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, and activity levels.
- Consistent weekday schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
