Position Summary
The Multimedia Designer is responsible for creating engaging, high-quality visual and multimedia content that supports the Schnellecke’s, recruiting, internal communications, marketing, and business objectives. This role combines graphic design, photography, video production, digital content creation, and visual storytelling to communicate information effectively across multiple platforms.
The ideal candidate is a creative, highly organized professional who can take a project from concept through final production while maintaining brand consistency, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
Graphic & Visual Design
- Create professional graphics, presentations, digital assets, advertisements, brochures, flyers, signage, and other visual communications.
- Develop creative concepts and translate business objectives into compelling visual content.
- Maintain consistency with Schnellecke’s brand standards, including logos, colors, typography, imagery, and overall visual identity.
- Design materials for recruiting, employer branding, internal communications, training, events, and corporate initiatives.
- Develop templates and reusable design assets to improve consistency and efficiency across the organization.
Video & Multimedia Production
- Plan, shoot, edit, and produce professional video content for internal and external audiences.
- Create employee spotlights, recruiting videos, training materials, company announcements, event coverage, interviews, and promotional content.
- Edit video, audio, graphics, animations, and captions using appropriate multimedia software.
- Assist with photography and video production at company locations, events, and recruiting activities.
- Repurpose existing content into multiple formats for digital and social media channels.
Digital & Social Media Content
- Develop visual content for company websites, social media, recruiting platforms, presentations, and digital communications.
- Collaborate with Business Development, HR, Talent Acquisition, Marketing, Operations, and other departments to develop content that supports business needs.
- Create engaging content that strengthens the company’s employer brand and employee experience.
- Ensure digital content is appropriately sized, formatted, and optimized for each platform.
Collaboration & Project Management
- Work with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, audiences, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing deadlines and business needs.
- Participate in creative planning and provide design recommendations based on project objectives.
- Coordinate with external vendors, photographers, videographers, printers, and other creative partners as needed.
- Maintain organized project files, creative assets, templates, and source materials.
Brand & Content Management
- Help maintain and strengthen the company’s visual identity across locations and departments.
- Monitor materials for brand consistency and recommend improvements when appropriate.
- Maintain a centralized library of approved graphics, photography, video, templates, and other creative assets.
- Stay current with design, multimedia, social media, and digital content trends.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- 2+ years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia, digital content, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience creating professional graphic and multimedia content.
- Strong knowledge of graphic design principles, typography, composition, color, and visual communication.
- Experience with professional design and video-editing software.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating graphic design and multimedia capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and project-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
