Description

General Function

Manages all revenue accounting processes and activities including preparing, distributing and analyzing financial reports.


Essential Functions

  • Oversees and reviews the administrative and depository processes related to daily cash receipts for NRF and all related organizations
  • Oversees and reviews the daily data entry processes related to billing, cash receipts and credit card processing for NRF and all related organizations
  • Posts and oversees the integration of all subsidiary revenue systems for NRF and all related organizations that feed into the central financial system
  • Reconciles the activity related to receivables, cash receipts, deferred revenue and revenue for NRF and all related organizations to the applicable underlying system
  • Reviews, records and analyzes all activity related to the investment portfolios held by NRF and related organizations, as needed
  • Distributes a suite of reports to all applicable budget managers and outside collections person/entity and responds to any questions
  • Oversees the generation and distribution of installment billings and statements.
  • Works with NRF IT Department, assists in revenue systems troubleshooting and solutions development as problems arise
  • Oversees the preparation of all cash, receivable, deferred revenue and revenue related work papers for NRF and related entities that are required for the annual audit
  • Communicates and coordinates with the Controller on all revenue related activates related to the preparation and distribution of the monthly budget reports and annual audit and tax reports.
  • Performs other duties as assigned



Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum five (5) years’ related work experience
  • Understanding of and ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles
  • Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
  • Strong understanding of database management. Familiarity with netFORUM Enterprise and Personify A2Z Events, helpful
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, projects and priorities effectively and professionally with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills (written, oral and listening), with ability to analyze and document complicated processes
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Some travel required
