What You'll Do

Our Electrical Assembly Technicians are responsible for correctly following a work order to assemble our custom signage, as well as ensuring all parts of a sign are functioning properly before heading out to be installed.  Essential functions of this position include: 


· Assembling finished product

· Installing LEDs, power supplies, photo cells

· Wiring all electrical components

· Installing faces in signs

· Quality checkpoint

· Utilizes a wide variety of tools including: jig saw, drill, drill press, table saw, grinders, de-burring tool, sheers, brake, forklift and scissors lift

· Other duties as may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.


All of our work is schedule driven; the ideal candidate must have a strong work ethic and be able to manage time and multiple priorities effectively while working in a highly collaborative environment. The ability to find solutions through positive attitude, taking direction and flexibility is essential. Stellar capacity to focus on the task at hand and a demonstrated ability to mentor/work with others effectively will also be required.

Requirements

  What You Need

  • Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Good technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Understanding of electrical wiring
  • UL Certification is a plus, but not required
  • Ability to make effective decisions on a timely basis and work effectively under pressure
  • Must be able to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals).
  • Understanding and ability to adhere to safety standards and good interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to alternate walking, sitting, bending, standing and climbing, including use of ladders, throughout work shift
