Job Summary

Encino Energy is looking to hire a Settlements Analyst. Seeking a detail-oriented, self-motivated, well-organized, and results-oriented professional with a proven track record of meeting deadlines. This individual will be expected to work in a fast-paced environment across multiple teams.


Responsibilities

  • Produce monthly accrual pricing for natural gas, NGL, and oil sales
  • Actualize all volumes in Endur in preparation for invoice generation 
  • Produce accurate and timely monthly invoices for all product sales 
  • Manage and resolve invoice disputes with counterparties
  • Reconcile aged A/R with counterparties
  • Verify counterparty and pipeline invoice payments 
  • Produce final monthly pricing for all sales and provide input into netback model
  • Produce and distribute system generated counterparty exposure / credit report
  • Serve as team Endur super-user and lead interactions with IT team
  • Complete implementation of Endur netback solution
  • Liaison between Marketing & Accounting departments
  • Provide ad hoc analysis and participate in projects, as requested
Requirements

Qualifications

  • Endur software expertise required, with experience in implementation preferred
  • Working knowledge of FERC natural gas pipeline operations and navigation of Electronic Bulletin Boards (EBB) required
  • Experience in Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) and Oil accounting preferred
  • Expertise in accruals, generating sales invoices, cash forecasting, and collection (A/R)
  • Expertise in pipeline invoice review, approval, and payment (A/P)
  • Candidate must have excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment and engage with others to focus on continuous improvement 
  • Able to work independently on a variety of simultaneous tasks

Education

Bachelor's degree, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in E&P or commodity trading required .


Relocation

This position is not eligible for domestic relocation.


Travel Requirements

The percentage of travel anticipated for this position is 5 -10%, including overnight extended stays.


Work Environment

This job is predominately located in a professional office environment with travel to customer locations and occasional travel to the field operations.


Work Schedule

This is a full-time position. Encino has a compressed work week with a “4/9/4” Work Schedule. Employees have the option to work four, nine-hour days with the addition of four hours each Friday. Some flexibility in hours is allowed.
