The primary role of the Fee Schedule and Maintenance Specialist position is to support the Revenue Cycle department by managing dental fee schedules in various practice management systems. Creating, and maintaining practice management user profiles and system preferences. This position will also require occasional assistance on specialized projects, as assigned. This position is a remote, work from home position.
The Fee Schedule and Dentrix Specialist role requires one to demonstrate and have: high attention to detail, ability to multitask, have strong task prioritization skills, in addition to good statistical and critical thinking skills and have professionalism when communicating.
The following describes the primary responsibilities of the Specialist position, other duties may be assigned:
Dental Fee Schedule Functions Gather, assemble and analyze data for reports, make sure data and calculations are accurate.
? Gather dental fee schedules from dental insurance companies for multiple locations
? Organize and inventory dental fee schedules
? Manage file conversion
? Upload dental fee schedules into various dental practice management systems
? Perform monthly fee schedule accuracy audits
? Troubleshoot issues or fulfil requests from our front office teams
? Identify and solve for trends occurring on EOBs with inaccurate fee schedules
? Manage minor changes to ADA codes in practice management systems
Practice Management Maintenance
? Create user profiles, defining specific system access
? Manage entering standard adjustment and payment types into new practice systems
? Maintain system standardization of existing practices
? Track and maintain inventory of provider codes, within Dentrix systems, for multiple locations
? Manage Dentrix access for new users, password requests, lockouts, and provide access to additional offices when necessary
? Must have reliable internet and home office space
? Minimum of 1 year dental experience experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience
? Dentrix practice management experience preferred
? Dental Experience preferred, but not necessary- Will train the right candidate
? Excellent verbal and written communication and listening skills are a must
