Objective of the Position
The role of the Account Executive is to assist in the implementation of all areas of the direct response fundraising strategy for non-profit organizations, begin to analyze campaign results and assist in the maintenance of strong client relationships.
Under the supervision of a Senior Account Executive and/or Account Manager or Director and working closely with production staff, the Account Executive is responsible for managing the steps necessary to execute a direct response fundraising effort, including: drafting campaign strategies, drafting data selects and instructions, list selection and segmentation, data processing, creative development and quality control. The Account Executive is also charged with learning to analyze mailing and testing results. The Account Executive should have an understanding of direct response fundraising and the ability to work as part of a team to fulfill client needs.
Four years’ experience in fundraising and/or direct marketing; basic knowledge of direct response fundraising and campaign execution; the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; strong analytic skills, strong attention to detail, strong writing skills; the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients, vendors and co-workers. Online and list experience is helpful
While this is a position at our DC headquarters, during the pandemic, it will be remote.
