We are looking for a Director, Research to lead the design and execution of custom qualitative and quantitative research, insights, data visualization, and mapping across our four core industries: real estate, residential, hospitality, and consumer/lifestyle brands. You will manage teams producing work for both external (clients who hire us) and internal (for Streetsense purposes) customers.
Research for external customers includes real estate market analysis (demand studies by use – retail, office, residential, hospitality) and human/consumer insights (consumer profiling, segmentation, user journey mapping, sentiment analysis). You will manage the Research Team and create new research products and approaches, redefining business and consumer insights at Streetsense.
Research for internal customers includes thought leadership to understand and predict trends for each of our four industries. The purpose of this type of research is to help our teams be smarter and more thoughtful about our approaches to serving our clients and predicting the next opportunities and challenges our clients might face.
Your methodology will produce actionable intelligence to help our teams and clients solve complex problems. You will also help shape predictive analytics and build an insights framework and technology stack that can be leveraged across the collective. You will work in a highly matrixed environment with Industry and Practice Area Leaders to support new product development, business development, consulting, and thought leadership. You will lead a team of between 5-7 existing and new researchers.
This position is based in Bethesda, MD but is temporarily remote due to COVID-19.
