Part-Time Administrative Assistant for Alumni & Church Relations
Description

This position provides administrative support for the Alumni Office.  


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the manager of Alumni & Church relations
  • Maintain alumni files
  • Responsible for picking up/opening mail for alumni office
  • Assist with on-campus special events:  Alumni Board weekends; Homecoming; and various alumni special events.
  • Provide administrative support to other directors in advancement and alumni department when needed.


Requirements

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Education: high school diploma
  • Experience Needed:  Organizational experience preferred.
  • Skills Required:  Knowledgeable with Windows and current Microsoft Office software (i.e. Word, Excel), type with speed and accuracy; detect and correct grammatical errors and suggest other editorial changes; maintain confidentiality of donor records, correspondence, and other aspects of the office; prioritize assignments; interact with public; become knowledgeable about the University‚Äôs giving programs; assume responsibility and take initiative.
  • Maintain a professional appearance.
