Summary:   

The Multimedia Designer supports all Merchants companies delivering our brand identity through multimedia design. The Multimedia Designer will work internally to gather requirements, pitch creative concepts and execute within deadlines and budget. The ideal candidate must have the ability to communicate through engaging design and professional presentation and present creative concepts throughout the development process.


Expected Outcomes:  

The Multimedia Designer will use his/her understanding and design skills to visually brand communications to meet marketing project goals for internal and external deliverables. Design projects may include designing/updating sales collateral, advertisements, branch signage, creating social media assets, building PowerPoint and Word templates, photo editing, and other design projects as needed.  Knowledge of basic video editing is preferred, but not required.  


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Design layouts for print and digital projects, including logos, social media graphics, website graphics, PowerPoint and Word templates, brochures, branch signage, direct mail, advertisements, posters and exhibitor booths.
  • Convey appropriate, professional messages in digital and printed materials, ensuring accuracy.
  • Apply established design and branding standards to meet internal and external graphics needs.
  • Conceptualize and execute layout and design elements based on specified requirements.
  • Ensure designs are visually engaging and support brand standards.
  • Ensure that all sales support materials are updated regularly and maintained for each business line/company.
  • Stay current on industry design trends and take the lead on implementing new design tools.
  • May perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, multimedia design, or related field preferred. 
  • Demonstrated experience with Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Acrobat.
  • Solid understanding and experience with design, fonts, colors, illustrations, and other visual principles.
  • Established portfolio of creative, design and communication skills.
  • Proven attention to detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently to meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Basic video and photography experience preferred, but not required.
