The Marketing and Creative Services team at The Association of Former Students is charged with telling the story of The Association’s work and how it impacts the Aggie Network, in addition to providing strategic creative support to departmental staff, programs, campus beneficiaries and affiliate organizations. We are searching for a highly motivated Coordinator of Marketing to help The Association take its marketing, awareness and strategic creative efforts to the next level.
From day one, this individual will contribute to existing marketing programs, while assisting in the development of new initiatives and processes aimed at furthering the message of The Association. The ideal candidate must be an organized multitasker able to handle a wide variety of tasks and projects at once, while meeting tight deadlines. Candidates should have prior experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including, but not limited to, advertising, branding, copywriting, digital and social media marketing (trends and back-end knowledge a plus), graphic design, and photography.
Essential Functions: Support the Director of Marketing and all marketing activities of The Association of Former Students.
Participates and provides input on various Association-wide activities which may include:
Acts as an ambassador for The Association by meeting Team Expectations; supporting The Association’s fundraising, branding, and communications efforts; and fostering relationships with former students, current students, parents, faculty, staff and friends of Texas A&M. Occasional other duties as assigned.

Required: Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in marketing or other related discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
Required: 3-5 years of experience in a wide range of marketing functions, including, but not limited to, advertising, branding, copywriting, digital and social media marketing (trends and back-end knowledge a plus), graphic design, and photography.
Required: Working knowledge of standard office equipment and basic word processing, spreadsheet and presentation development. Self-motivated with strong written, verbal and organizational skills. Must have the ability to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously. Must be able to effectively communicate with students, former students, Association employees, and Association leadership in a professional manner.
Preferred: Understanding of photography and graphic design principles. Ability to design within Adobe Creative Suite and take professional photographs a plus.
Required: Ability to operate a keyboard. Frequent use of a computer. Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required: Ability to interact with a diverse population. Ability to work evenings and weekends with some travel required.
