Streetsense is looking for a Creative Strategist to join our Brand Studio. You are a creatively driven writer and collaborator who is looking to bring a passion for storytelling and a fascination for creative branding to the table.


We are looking for a high-energy team player to join our Creative Strategy team. We take a unique approach to branding for our clients, requiring an unconventional skillset that combines the ability to think strategically and analytically with innovative ideation and above all, strong written and verbal communication skills. A successful candidate should be creatively driven, have a background in writing or advertising, and understand storytelling across all media. We are looking for individuals who have entrepreneurial drive and are excited to work in a fast-paced creative environment. This role is part of an integrated team of graphic designers, copywriters, and brand experts. Clients range from local entrepreneurs and restaurateurs to global hoteliers and real estate developers.


This position is based in Bethesda, MD but is temporarily remote due to COVID-19. 


As a Creative Strategist, you will:

  • Define and express clients’ brand strategy and voice.
  • Name new products, places, and destinations, adhering to Streetsense best practices.
  • Create compelling creative presentations for a range of client types.
  • Create concepts and messaging for print collateral, marketing campaigns, digital media, and other communications.
  • Ensure all project work is strategic and on brand.
  • Work in tandem with designers, strategists, and other departments that may share responsibility on specific projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field
  • 2+ years of professional experience in an agency environment or similar
  • Excellent promotional writing and proofreading skills  
  • Strong presentation/public speaking skills 
  • Self-starter attitude and ability to take initiative and ownership of work
  • Ability to successfully participate in multiple projects and adhere to established timelines 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm about working collaboratively 
  • Effective time management, as well as strong analytical and organizational skills 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Open to travel as necessary
