Description

Summary of Duties:


Maintain a positive, cheerful and friendly demeanor with customers and co-workers. Efficiently serve food and drinks in a friendly and courteous manner and follow the service sequence and standards of the club according to the training manual. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.


Mix and serve drinks to customers. Assist servers to meet customer’s needs. Maintain and abide by all state and local liquor laws. Responsible for inventory and assistance with ordering when needed.


The Beverage Cart Attendant is a member of the food and beverage team. This individual serves food and beverages in a friendly, courteous and professional manner from the course's beverage cart and engages the members/guests according to high standards of quality



Essential job functions:

Server

• To efficiently serve food in a friendly and courteous manner. To follow the service sequence and standards of the club according to the training manual.

• To have complete knowledge of all menu items including preparation of those items.

• To ensure that food preparation and presentations are proper throughout the guests dining  experience. Proper timing and coordination with the kitchen for timely food deliveries.

• To assist in dining room clearing tables and resetting when business demands. Adjusting for missing silverware.

• Adherence to schedules and attendance at all service and pre-shift meetings.

• To work as a team member with the kitchen staff, the expeditor, the servers, server assistants and Supervisors.

• To assure that food preparation and presentation are proper throughout the guests dining experience.

• Obtains revenues by totaling charges; issuing bill; accepting payment; delivering bill and payment to host person; returning change or credit card and signature slip to patrons.

• Perform any work-related items as required by supervisor or manager.

• Assess member/guest needs and preferences and make recommendations.

Bartender

• Check member/guest identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age.

• Prepare drink orders according to specified recipes using measuring systems.

• Set up and maintain cleanliness and condition of bar, bar unit, tables, and other tools.

• Prepare fresh garnishes for drinks.

• Stock ice, glassware, and paper supplies.

• Restock bar with liquor and supplies.

• Transport supplies to bar set-up area.

• Wash soiled glassware.

• Remove soiled wares from bar top and tables and place in designated area.

• Anticipate and communicate replenishment needs.

• Process all payment methods.

• Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.

• Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.

• Preform other duties as requested.

Beverage Cart

• Serve all food and beverages from the Beverage Cart to golfers and guests.

• Service golfers in outings and private events according to the details on the BEO.

• Safely drive the golf course and maintain frequent and friendly sales and service opportunities with guests.

• Employ upselling and cross-selling strategies while informing guests about upcoming events and specials.

• Ensure the proper storage of all items from equipment to beverages and perishable foods.

• Knowledge of Golf Course Etiquette

• Maintain beverage cart in a clean and orderly fashion.

• Complete assigned side-work and prep-work.

• Perform other related duties that may be assigned by Management.


Requirements

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to frequently sit, stand, bend, kneel, walk and crouch.

• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs., and to lift overhead and push/pull, move lighter objects.

Qualifications:

• State required alcohol seller server certification.

• Valid Driver’s License

• Requires ability to frequently lift/move up to 30lbs.
