Summary/Objective(s)


This role is responsible for designing our divisions’ websites from a User Experience and User Interface perspective. This role will collaborate with project managers, graphic designers, and developers to help deliver experiences that drive customer success. As the UX designer, you will be improving existing user flows and create new user flows that will help increase conversion rate and reduce the number of clicks per purchase. This role will also be responsible for standardizing the styling used on each of our divisions’ websites to ensure we have a cohesive “mobile first” digital experience.



Essential Functions


  • Demonstrate knowledge and passion for developing engaging user-centric experiences
  • Create visually appealing and highly convertible web designs driven by research and data
  • Collaborate with front end web teams during project creation to generate flows, wireframes, and mockups
  • Develop and maintain a UI Style Guide for each of our divisions that align with their brand
  • Write and maintain user experience documentation
  • Perform regular user experience audits of all divisional websites
  • Conduct necessary research to enhance or refine existing web user interfaces
  • Improve existing user experiences to ensure customers can succeed while using our websites
  • Mentor and grow front end developers on best practice design principles
  • Create graphical web assets when necessary
  • Develop and implement standards and processes for day to day work
  • Manage and prioritize tasks
  • Utilize A/B testing to provide data-backed answers to design changes

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Requirements


Education

High School Degree

Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or an equivalent discipline is a plus


Experience

  • 1+ years of UI/UX design experience in E-Commerce.
  • Experience using Sketch, AdobeXD, Framer, or similar prototyping tools.
  • Experience using Adobe Illustrator, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Mobile-first and Responsive design experience preferred
